How Hidan Kim was Hired as My Intern

Hidan Kim reached out to me via cold email to ask questions about my paper, 

"Exploring Junior Secondary Students’ Plagiarism Behavior," 

and to request my advice on drafting a plagiarism code of conduct for his high school.

I met him via Zoom to answer his questions

After the Zoom meeting, I offered him first an internship position in my team 

because his work on plagiarism in his high school was in line with my previous research

Hidan Kim’s Role as My Intern

He performed various tasks in my team, working remotely for 7 months 

with meetings every week along with other members, including two of my master's students, 

a Ph.D student, and a fellow high school intern.

His works included

Participating as a co-author in the systematic review of 

intergenerational learning by drafting research questions and 

answering them through a systematic review of 20 academic papers

Drafting a feedback paper on my Ph.D student 

Kai Guo’s MUN-based Argument Arena platform

Participating in the questionnaire formulation for my education game, Reading Battle
